***News Update***

Hello all.

If you have been attending our meetings you will be aware that we were thinking of organising a day out to go pick some tasty berries while they are in season. Many of us remember the days when we used to go with our parents and run around like crazy children in the fields while our parents picked the majority of the berries. Well, now it's our turn to pick our fair share!

With the blessing of Fr Nicholas Karipoff we are going to a berry farm
located in Silvan Victoria, where we will be able to pick raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. I will call the farm tomorrow to ensure there are plenty of berries to pick before we head out.

Seeing as we will be very close to the Dandenong ranges, lunch in one of the reserves might be in order. Whether we BBQ up some fish and vege burgers or head into a close town to pick up some fish and chips will be discussed with the other MOYG board member and we will tell you on the day. Ideally we would like to start early on in the cool of the morning and wrap up things early afternoon so that those wanting to go to church can do so.

For those interested in wanting to travel together from Brunswick church or needing a lift please LET ME KNOW ASAP as we will organising a meeting and departure time.
For those travelling by themselves to the farm itself please meet us there at 9 am, but please also inform us if you are coming.

Families with children please feel welcome to come along.

Please make sure you also wear and bring any appropriate clothing ie. sturdy shoes or boots and rain jacket just in case.

Where: Blue hills berries and Cherries. 27 Parker Rd Silvan, Victoria 3795
When: Saturday 1/3/2014  at 9 am

IN OTHER NEWS-

Male Znamenny choir
A small group of us youthful boys were involved in singing the liturgy on Sunday as part of a male choir, singing ancient russian chant called znamenny from roughly the 15th century. Here is a snippet for those that missed it.

Kind Regards

Your MOYG Representatives
